For over 30 years, Dreamtec has been a cold-forging specialist, making the automotive parts by cold-forging technology. Dreamtec has started from small nuts and screws for automobiles and expanded to large and complicated parts such as guide rods and OPS body. Dreamtec has kept the eye on the automobile trends and started to develop one-piece universal joint for steering system by cold-forging. Before Dreamtec developed this innovative part, a pipe and a yoke, two main parts of a universal joint, had been assembled by welding. The conventional universal joint had been a risk of breakdown on the welded area. Dreamtec has succeeded in developing and mass-producing the world\'s first One-piece Universal Joint for Steering System with cold forging technology. Dreamtec has the world\'s largest annual and accumulative volume for One-piece Universal Joint for Steering System. Now Dreamtec has manufacured hallow shaft and aluminium universal joint for EV to reduce the weight.

The welded shaft joint had been a a risk of breakdown on the welded area. Dreamtec has succeeded in developing and mass-producing the world's first One-piece Universal Joint for Steering System with cold forging technology. The one-piece universal joint is manufactured without welding so the risk of breakdown on the welded area has been fundamentally eliminated. Also, The productivity of the cold-forging process is much larger than that of welding process.
